Default New Cobra bumper and lowered stance

He is a current pic of whats been done on the outside. I am currently have the SC off and redoing a couple of things before I head back to the dyno and see what it can do with the current setup. Waiting on a set of fog lights.

Since the car sits higher with the bumper I was able to lower it more.

The car is looking great. It looks A LOT better with the new bumper, the other one just didn't quite flow with the lines of the car.

What kind of power are you looking to get out of her? I remember you were pushing over 500hp before. Oh and what kind of blower are you using?

Yeah I know, but I swear it was still off even when he had it on. I see a lot of Mustangs, Cobra's and other cars that are off too. I was just curious.

You are talking about their alignment...

Thats just how the sheetmetal procharger intercooler fits. Its not something that is done on purpose.

I made 530rwhp at 6k and the belt shredded due to the alternator pulley coming loose. I am hoping for anything over 600rwhp. I have a D1.

That is due to the way the intercooler is shaped and the inlet and outlet. Its not a perfect square more tapered on one side. The inlet is on the bottom and outlet on top which causes you to use a 90 degree hose on the passenger side outlet which in turn hits the bumper support. I am planning on custom making an intercooler with both inlet outlet on the bottom, this will center the IC plus you want to keep 90d bends to a minimum. I am going to try to center it as it bothers me as well.

That is how the Paxton intercooler is built. I have zero 90* bends and only a total of 5 pipes running from supercharger outlet to throttle body. Real compact. Also, the paxton designed theirs to run underneathe the radiator support. Even with that My x-pipe hangs lower then the intercooler.

I know someone that custom makes intercoolers. He made one for my friend that has an RX-7 and its a huge bar and plate. I call it the BookCase. He spent way less than buying a Spearco or any other brand.

Monster of a car. It probably makes children cry and old people scared.

Hope you get the 600.

ya, i think i like that cobra bumper better than your other one. i am glad to see you still have the car. i remember when you were trying to sell her. i like the side scoops too. i always wanted to put a set on mine. only thing that could make your car look better is some smoked headlights or tail lights.

I was going to sell it but then I figured that I would never mod a car like this again so Id rather keep it and buy another car. I thought about smoked light but it cuts down on visibility and I get pulled over by cops already.

random question: what tire shine do you use? i'm not a fan of the "glossy/shinny" tire sidewall but i like what you've done there.

I stopped using any tire shine since petroleum based products may ruin tires. I just clean it really well with a brush and some soap.
