congrats. 10 rounds of .45 is pretty nice. I would recommend you invest in Cor-Bon 165gr loads for it for carry duty. They're extremely low flash. Great for night work.

I've only shot a pistol a few times, and it was an older Glock 19 i think and i loved that thing. If i ever decide to buy a pistol i think its gonna be a glock.

Sweet, I like the mouse-pad.

I also recently got a new one; impulse bought this 590A1 SPX from a friend last month, it's now the on-duty sreggin slayer. Put on a mossberg heatshield (had to modify), laserlyte tri-rail with a Fenix TK-11R2 225 lumen light, 12" LOP Hogue stock and forend. I have some Federal law enforcement 'tactical' 8 shot 00 buck for it, once I buy a saddle I'll keep it loaded with the ammo. Patterned a sub 8" grouping at 25 yards.

Nice Glock, I hope to get a G17 in a few weeks. Dude's selling it for $400, only 100 rounds through it and looks new.

I'm still a long ways from getting a carry permit. It's just for target shooting and having in the nightstand.

The 17 is great for what you want to do with it.
