Default sons graduation present

well i posted some stuff a while ago about a convertible fox for me and my son could work on. it was going to be a nice project for us. we were going to put a 5.0 in it. well he didn't take any interest so it sits under a cover in my driveway now. i think it will turn in to a nice weekend cruiser in the future for me and my wife. keep the 4 cyl in it. since the last few weeks he has been driving my mustang because the van broke down on him that i gave him to drive. anyways picked this 4 cyl up for him and only paid 600 dollars. this one runs and drives. he needs something to get to and from trade school he will be starting.

body has a few dents here and there. runs and drives. check engine light was on but i am suspecting it was a spark plug that was way over gapped. just got done putting new plugs and wires on. the spark plug that we found yesterday had fried the cord loose and almost crystallized the plug base. couldn't pull it off it just crumbled into pieces. couple of the old plugs were over gapped as well. seems to be running a lot smoother. needs some new rubber on the ground and it should get him around for a while.

I agree with everyone else. You got a damn good deal on that. Hell, I paid $1,500 for my '93 2.3l when I got it in '04 and the one you got your son looks to be in similar shape to mine!
