I want to make a background for a website im making using this image.




I want the bottom of the image to fade out looking something like this

and then carry the last color all the way to the bottom. I was thinking the last color could be something like a medium to dark gray. but if you think another color would be suitable then go right ahead.

So if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

 

You want it cropped like the one you posted, or the full size image?

 

cropped I think it would be too big if it wasnt cropped.

 

About what size? Width/height wise?

 

about the same size as the go by image i posted. Big enough to fill the entire width of a web page. so im guessing 1024×765 should be sufficient width wise if at all possible.

 

So, you want the bik in it too, then? Or do you just want the car in it?

 

its a website about me so with or with out the bike. what ever you think looks better.

 

Yeah, I mean it's going to be really difficult to stretch that picture out with just the car in it.

 

then leave the bike in. adds to overall effect of the image.

actually could you crop the top as well. Its too tall.

Did it with the fade @ the top too.. This one is 1024/700.

 

the one Pcola posted is what i was looking for just dont want the added white text.

 

Wn, I think he mis-communicated in one of his posts, I believe he just wants a banner. So just chop out everything above the car. Personally I would crop just under the car to keep the height down.
