My new toy!
It was time for something new, and this is what I ended up with. Its a 2000 Lightning. Just turned 80K miles. Has a stage 3 Steggy blower, C&L upper plenum and elbow, accufab TB, boost a pump, 90mm maf, built trans with shift kit. Putting down 460hp/550tq. Its a work in progress. It needed a little paint work, and definitely needs a good buff job, but I haven't taken any pics of it yet, and wanted to so I would have some pics of it from the beginning. Just a put a Bell Tech 3/4 drop on it yesterday morning and I'm liking the look of it a lot and of course I've already swapped a buddy taillights and tinted them already. Getting new exhaust tips put on tomorrow cuz the ones on it now are ugly and off center and sagging. I'll get some motor and interior pics posted up later. Its a fun truck, I love it. Here's some exterior pics.

Not sure what the plan is just quite yet. I know I'm going to have the current wheels powdercoated black since they are a little beat up until I decide on a set of new wheels. The passenger door and fender have a little bondo in them so I'm picking up a junkyard fender and door and shaving the antenna on the fender. I'm going to do a complete respray next year and shave some more stuff and do it a deeper black color. Ford UA has a Greyish tint to it. Hard to tell from pics but if you were to see it next to the color I painted the top of my mustang with it makes this color look grey. I have HID's ready to install when the new headlights arrive (the lense was busted on the pass side light). Will probably respray all the plastic trim to a darker black since it is fading a bit. Just mainly stuff to get the truck looking new again. I'm sure I will come up with something down the road to set it apart from other Lightnings, but at the moment there are only a hand few here in town, so no need to rush into making it stand out since it already does.
I was thinking all black wheels would be too much on this truck until I saw this picture. I love it!

thats bad ***, honestly, id prob just powder coat the wheels black.sucks about the bondo, but i get what u mean about fords black, my friend painted his mustang black, and it was sooo black compared to other mustangs, we put blackouts on it and they lookedl ike crap because they were lighter than the car.
