Default Found a new toy Store.

Well I was playing around on eBay yesterday (yeah, I fell off the wagon. Tried to avoid it). And I ran across this store that had a lot of factory pieces that I needed/wanted for my car. And, upon closer investigation this place is only 10 minutes from my house!!!!

It's a Mustang Only Salvage shop. They have a ton of cars and most of them are parting out. If anyone needs a factory part check them out MPS Auto Salvage

Here's the list I am taking up there today (so much for not spending any more money on my car for a while):
Part Needed Stock Number
1. Black Hood Scoop #42, 37, or 35
2. Cobra Style Side Scoops #35 or 42
3. Cowl Grill any 99-04 model
4. Mach 1 Pedals (manual) #45 or 41
5. Mach 1 Grill Delete #45 if salvageable
6. Mach 1 Chin Spoiler
7. Mach 1 Shift **** #45
8. Black Defroster Grill any 99-04 model
9. Wheels Cobras on Stock #34
10. Front Bumper Black, GT
11. Rear Bumper #42, 37, or 35
12. Black Seat Belts any 99-04 model
13. Black (Mach460) rear deck panel any 99-04 model
14. Mach 1 Black Leather Seats #45
15. Shift Boot panel (w/Trac. Ctrl, or just shift boot) any 99-01 model
16. Black Carpet any 99-04 model

Yeah, I saw those. I was thinking either those or the ones on this car: If I can get them cheap enough with trading mine with them it will be better than what I have and hold me over til I get my Fr500's.

Yeah, I'm hoping they have a lot more stuff when I go up there today. The place it is in is a huuuuuge warehouse. I've driven by it about 10,000 times but never knew it was a salvage place. I have seen several wrecked stangs there, but always thought it was just a body shop! But now that I know what it is I may be in trouble with the wifey..........

Just had a thought too..I wonder how they would look powder coated black? but then again they wouldn't have the chrome lip...so maybe not so good. Have em dipped instead!

I noticed in your list, you have a rear bumper...why would you want another one?

And how do you know what they charge for the parts? Do you just make an offer or what?

Both of my bumpers are starting to fade (damn car baked in the sun in Florida for 5 years), so if they have some that still have a nice shine to them and he makes me a good enough deal (cheaper than to have them repainted), I am going to trade them.

I plan on having my whole car repainted next year, so if I can get a deal to hold me over til them I'l take it.

As far as price, in their ebay store everything is pretty cheap. So I guess it's like a swapmeet kindof thing, go in with offers or ask and bargain. A lot of stuff I want I can trade for mine that is close to or in the same shape as they have so I should be able to get some decent deals.

I'm going to try and make it up there today (if I can sneak out of work early) I'll let ya'll know if they have good prices.

here is their eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/MPS-AUTO-SALV...0QQcidZ0QQtZkm.

When I go up there I'll tell him that there are people on this board that are looking for parts. So if everyone wants to get a "I need" list going here I can take it to him and maybe he will cut some deals if enough people need some stuff!

Yep, they have several. 2 Mach 1's and even more 4.6's. I'll see what they are wanting for them.

So long as you know what you are doing and the seat still has the motor and everything, yes. The motor is built in underneath the seat if im not mistaken.

Find me a good pair of 99-04 Cobra Seats and i'll be a happy camper.

yeah the motor is built into the bottom of the seat. also the car should already have the power wire even if you had manual seats so all you have to do is find the wire under the carpet, pull it through and plug it in.
