Default Ive been working with maya this semester....
I must say it really is quite fun and here are the results
Day one: Environment starting to take shape.
Name: Lamp.jpg Views: 75 Size: 7.4 KB
Name: chairlamp.jpg Views: 80 Size: 8.1 KB
Name: box.jpg Views: 95 Size: 8.7 KB
Name: Lightingmain.jpg Views: 77 Size: 9.3 KB

Finally I added the Textures to the surfaces and then lighting.
Name: SpotlightNoPB.jpg Views: 99 Size: 7.8 KB
Name: Dramtic.jpg Views: 75 Size: 115.7 KB

Ever worked with Rhino? It looks allot like that although i hate it.

That's a good start. I've used Maya and it's a sweet program. Just a lot of **** to learn. Keep at it and you should be good to go.
