LOL... No, my right rear parking brake cable is all wonky. It is binding for some reason and causing my right rear caliper to drag on the rotor. I had to disconnect it, so just for my own personal peace of mind I put a brick behind the tire just in case it somehow popped out of gear.

I love teaser threads... They're so much fun!

For those of you who haven't figured it out yet..

They're Black Chrome Deep Dish Cobra's. 17/9" Nitto NT555 255/45/17 and 17/10.5 Nitto NT555 315/35/17's.

Hands down some of the coolest wheels I've ever laid my eyes on, they're a different shade of Chrome/Black at every different angle, at night they look very dark, but during the day they're a really dark vibrant chrome. Very Cool.

Probably going to have to wait for the weekend to get any decent pictures, thanks to the damned tropical storms we have *** loads of rain coming down out here.

Looks a lot better than I thought it would. Congrats on a great buy, dude...car looks great! Digging the badges too...the more I look at it the better they look. But I still think that the 99-04 GT badges were the best.

That is the best way to describe them that I've seen.

I actually really fought hard with myself debating between Black Chrome FR's, Saleens or the DD Cobra's... Just ask Nick. In the long run I decided to go with the cobras because not only do fewer people have them, but they're just something different. Plus the Saleens have no dish and the rears are only 10" wide and the FR's are a major PITA to clean.

Yup. ^^^^

But just imagine how sick DD Saleens would be! It really is too bad that they don't make 'em.

MEhhhhhhhh, Not really a fan of 03 Cobras over FR500s. They just look small.

And FR500s are not hard to clean, noobs. Haha

not my car anymore. But I think you downgraded. FR's were designed for the new edge body style...the angles in them...the angles in the car... they just go together so damn well.

Sorry Evan, not a fan.

I know everyone gets a woody and pitches tents over black chrome, but it fails to do anything for me. Maybe I'd have to see a set in person to really appreciate the finish. And also, to point out what Kevin said, the Cobra wheels really do look smaller compared to the FR500's.
