it's an Enfield model 1917 30.06 rifle. it belonged to an Ordinance company. it has an E stamped on the bolt as well, which i guess means Eddystone bolt. i love this rifle.

i love it. the barrel is very dirty, but i can clean that. it loads and ejects cleanly, and the wood is in good condition. 300 bucks.


i also got a box of 30-06 Winchester centerfire rounds for 17 bucks.

Great gun. It'll last a lifetime or 3. One of my uncles uses one for deer. Peep sights and all. I really liked the bolts on the Enfields. They're almost as smooth as a Krag.

they are indeed, i took it to one of my local gun ranges, it fired just fine. kicked like a BITCH though. my shoulder is aching... o.O
