I seriously think you need to fight the ticket. The pig is just trying to strong arm and scare you into not fighting it. You shouldn't even need a lawyer, you may consult a traffic lawyer just in case, but you shouldn't need one.

 

I would have to agree. You can't really go wrong on fighting it, cause if you lose then you still pay the ticket and all that like you would have already. Chances the cop actually has any proof is slim to none I bet. You could've asked to see the proof. It's kinda like if you were caught speeding and they said they caught you on radar. You are allowed to ask the cop to show you the radar. Fight it.

Dude, Id totally fight that ticket if I was you. That cop would have to show up to court with his proof and if he doesnt apparently you automatically win. Case closed.
I was caught racing on a florida highway doing 90 something in a 45 and had to go to court, but it got dropped. Didnt have to pay ****. The judge said it was unconstitutional somehow. I was told it was because the cop didnt show.

Yep take it to court and fight it. Chances are the cop cant testify to you racing and I doubt he took any witness information given there were any. No witness's summoned, cant testify to watching you race = you win.

 

Definitely fight the ticket. And no way will a new fender and skirt + paint $2k. Fix the car soon dude, you need to come to a meet after you get some new tires while were still all out of school.

News on the door?

 

The door? **** the door! Haha...well, other than being dented and chipped it's fine, but it doesn't shut right, if I do shut it all the way so that the sensor thinks it's shut, it makes the loudest heart stopping "POP" noise when I open it, which can't be good. Met up with a member off another forum thursday whose letting me run his stock wheels and tires upfront till I get my new tires on, he's also giving me his old sideskirt. Then we went to his buddy's house whose been doing body work for years and has a shop at his house. Got him to look at my car and he said he'd fix the door problem, floor plan, frame damage, and bend the outer rocket back into place (replace it if need be) so the sideskirt can mount, paint a fender, sideskirt, repaint the door, and quarter panel for $1,500 tops. So I'm probably going to call him up next week and drop the car off. Going to get the holes on the trunk filled in, oval shaved and trunk repainted white/gloss black while I'm at it.

So uhh..I'm probably keeping the 6 now, so I'm going to start looking for 8.8's and saving for a supercharger. It's not going to be worth crap anyway so I may as well run it for as long as I can.

I think I got one even better. Decided last night, just going to do a drivetrain swap. There's a wrecked mach 1 for $5k, next time one of those comes around when I have some $$ I'm going to be all over it. I'd knock out motor, transmission, rear end and interior all in 1 blow. lol

For the next couple of years, yeah. Insurance is just going to be too much. Since my car's not worth a **** anyway (and it's paid off) I'll just be able to buy a Mach and still keep my car.

 

Well if the 2011s are all they're hyped up to be, I think prices on the Machs will drop like a rock. I mean if the 4v actually makes it into a GT model, I wouldn't be surprised to find a decent Mach for $9-$11k.
