Hood pins installed! DUW
My car: Now with Hood Pins! I used pop rivets to attach them instead of those crappy sheet metal screws Ford supplies the kit with. Install is WAY cleaner with the rivets and they're stupid quick to drill out if I need to remove the plates (which I do because I forgot to pull the masking tape off the passenger side when I put the plate on and it looks hella ghey with blue tape sticking out from under it.)
Drilling holes:

dam dude what a picture ***** you are! just kidding, we never get to see pics of your car. Looks great man, the 01 front + cobra hood looks perfect!
But that isn't the same cobra hood as the 00 Cobra R, it looks to be shaped different, more like a 2.5'' cowl with the R louvers on it??
btw what roll bar are you using??

I haven't had my car in nearly a year. It was in header jail for 8 months, then I got it back after a month of other work only to have a bitch in a hurry wreck it where it spent yet another month in the shop (that's 10 months in the shop). While it was in the shop the tags expired, which meant I had to get it smogged (that was fun) and then I could finally register it. Now I'm just waiting for the tags. Then I'll wash and wax it and maybe drive it a little. Should see a hose and sponge by June... July at latest.
EDIT: I liked the Mach1 style setup I had better but the Fauxbra R' thing needed pulled together if I was gunna use the R' hood which I really like the look of (even if it is a bitch to live with).

Your mustang is probably my favorite mustang on this forum, like if I had some serious cash my mustang would be just like yours, even if i had never seen yours before. 3 things i would do different: 95 style cobra r hood, no spray, big *** KB

nice face lift...sometimes car accidents are for the good. my hood pins have been waiting to be installed for the past 3 years! i even took the car to 170+ miles per hour on the bahns, guess cervini's builds a strong hood latch.
im gonna be back in the bay around late june...should prolly get together again before i drive to phoenix in july
