Seriously, just when I thought Ford may be getting it right by making the car a little smaller, closer to the SN-95 size they go and completely screw up the rest of it. They only got one thing right this time.. The interior.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it's close to SN95 size, but it's still big, heavy and under powered. I was watching this cool show last night on the making of the old GT500 "Eleanor" and such and they talked about how back in the day all the scoops and vents were functional and they saved weight to have a good power to weight ratio. Then slowly Ford started cutting costs and the vents and scoop started being for show and the weight started going up.

The 2010 GTs wouldn't be so bad at 315hp if they were able to get the weight to at least like 3300lbs.

Not liking the butt. The interior is too chunky, look at the hideous steering wheel.

I disagree. I think this is by far the best looking interior on a Mustang. I think it is gorgeous. I like it a lot more than my '05 interior. The interior and the very front of the car is the only thing I think is worthwhile on the new Mustang.

I'm sure Ford took all the feedback into consideration and came up with the 2010.
Notice all the stuff on the 2010 that American Muscle sells for our 05-09's.
Copy Cats
I will have to say that after the 09's can't be gotten new anymore that people that want a new Stang will probably take what they don't like with what they do like in the 2010.

Default Not Too Bad

I Know I said I didn't like the back of the 2010 but this isn't too bad.

I think the stripe helps cover up the shock of the new design.

I was actually watching the same show.. Odd. lol

What I meant was just by making the overall car a bit smaller, the 05-09's are a little too boat-ish.. When I drive my fiance's 05 I can hardly park the damn thing because you need binoculars to see over the hood.

The one thing, I will admit about the 05+ is the seats are much nicer. I like the fact that you can crank the seat down and basically sit on the floor of the car, me being 6' 3" I feel like I sit way too high in my Mustang.

I have seen one in person. I saw one at the dealership I got my gears installed at. It was a grabber blue V6. I loved the color, and it looked great from the front, but damn, the rear of the car was still ugly. I thought it would look better in person, but it didn't.

I agree about the gold. It's hideous. I also don't like the fatness of the antenna base. It looks stupid.

I see what your saying. Anywho, while the seats are nicer in 05+s and the headrests are actually usable, they do make it hard to see out the window when you look over your shoulder. I had a 05 V6 rental once and it was damn hard to see out the window over the damn giant headrest. I have to say though, I do like the 2010s. I don't mind the plastic on them. I would take a white one and then slap black rims on it cause the black plastic would give it some nice accents.

Still no 2010s at any dealership near me yet (that I've seen anyway)....Denver is starting to get their first shipments of Camaros out now, so I guess we're a bit behind.
