I read in Car & Driver mag last month that the design of the Camaro started in a airport when the designers were tasked with starting on the retro project. And if you look at the front end lines of it, kinda is similar to a airplane look to it.

 

i hate the new camaro, for all the power it has it could only run a 12.9wtf?

as for the styling i think it could have been much better, after 71 the real camaro was dead.

 

The 2007 GT500 has even more horsepower than the new camaro and also runs a 12.9

Does this mean you hate GT500s too?

 

no becouse the last one was 4000 some pounds so i knew it was not going to be light.

i was hoping the camaro would not be as heavy as all the other new cars, and i was hoping for a more 60s look.

 

that 12.9 is the vert the coupe runs a little quicker and the 2008 kr got it done in 11.9 so the 2010 gt500 with some good tires and a good driver should be about 12 flat

Yea kinda like what the Ford Stealerships have been doing since day one!!

Alot of people paid WAY over sticker for 05's when they first came out and the GT500 is over priced from the start let alone the Dealer markups on them.

GM won't be able to produce them fast enough!

I agree. I am very ******* dissapointed with the 2010 design. I hate it, infact. I hate the plastic valence, grill, and sideskirts. Looks cheap. Same with the zr1. You just dont put plastic parts on the outside of a muscle car. Leave that **** to the cavaliers, and toyota echos. CRAP like that. What the **** was word thinking? Correc me if Im wrong, but do the 2010 v6's even have an increase in hp? Cause last I read....it was still 210.

I have to agree. The 2010 mustang is definitely not one of the body styles that I like. I'll stick with 09 and older.

 

For the record the zr1's "Plastic" is carbon fiber and the Zr1 is on it's way to being a super car as opposed to a muscle car

 

I don't give two ***** about some 'experts' opinions. If I had the money, I'd pay off my current car and mod the hell out of it. There will be no 2010 Mustang in my driveway.

Those same experts that say this is 'arguably the best Mustang ever made' will say the same damn thing when the next one comes out.

 

I asked him last night and he said that they are not allowed to sell them until next month so they have to hide it.

Why not put it in the showroom and just not sell it until next month? IDK.

 

I guess the rear of the 2010 doesn't bother me to much because I really don't like the *** end of the 05-09's I love the rest of the car but the *** is just so boring
