I looked through it real fast and he seems to think the short block let go, lol. When clearly it had a nitrous backfire from to much fuel in the intake and or to low of an rpm when spraying. But it seems like he does not really care so whatever.

Red, yea, direct port wold've been the way to go. But I'll take my guess and say he went and tried to shoot a 175 at stock internals, with that backfire, who knows what else went along with it internally. The motor could be done. Broke a piston, or a head, slung a rod, ect.

Hell, with mine, it only took a 75 shot to finally crack my pistons (but i'm a 6'er)

In my buddies built 5.0, he burnt his piston on a 150 shot...and that was with the flattop pistons, h beam rods, cam, fully built ect... and it was on a plate..

I mean, you look at it, FI is a timebomb eventually, somethins gonna go, and its not going to be cheap, its just a matter of time.

LOL that block is good for the power. Hes a moron and shouldn't have been even OWNING that car if he doesn't know what it'll hold up to. My guess, his PSI was low, he still shot the nitrous at...2k RPMS or something racing his asshat buddy or trying to show off, and kaboom.
