Talking Lookie what I got today!

I've said it before, Craigslist is your friend! Picked it up for $70.00 this afternoon after I got off work. For those of you who don't already know, it's an '03/04 Cobra spoiler.

I was thinking I was going to have to have it painted at first, but I actually kind of like the black, what do you think?

So, I guess the only question now is, does anyone wanna buy the 3rd brake light I bought on Monday? lmao

It'd only look good black if you went two-tone.

No way I'd sell this thing, $70 for a $300+/- part.. Are you kidding?

I think the pics make it look kinda funny, I looked at it for a long time this afternoon and it seems like it balances out the black from the chin spoiler to the rear of the car really well. Keep in mind, it will cover up all of the white on the back of the decklid..

hmm... lol

I think I may have it mounted and leave it black for a few days and see how I like it.. I can always have it painted white.

Please paint the damn thing white. Zigg's car hasn't got any black accents on it and that glossy black spoiler will make it look fucked up. lol

It's not zig's car anymore mothefucker! I'll paint it pink with purple polka-dots if I want to!

Like I said, I think I'm going to have it mounted black and see how much I like/dislike it and go from there.. No sense in painting it first, just test it out and see what I think.

Agreed or it's just that I don't like those type of spoilers, but it might be because the color doesn't match.

LoL I just googled one to see if I actually like them, there not bad when it matches. :/ Good job on the deal.
I've been having some good deals on E-Bay. YAY, but spent over $500 within a few days, addicted to E-Bay now.

Edit: LoL the key hole doesn't match up. LOL

It wouldn't look too bad if your wheels were black.

Paint it.

The holes aren't drilled.. It's sitting on the bolts that are about an inch tall..

Man you lucky bastard!!! Definitely needs to be white. Even with other black accents that wing can't pull off the black look.

Agreed. Nice find though! I am never that lucky. I love that view of the Mustang though. Just looks like muscles wrapped around tires.

What do you guys think it would look like with the third brake light shaved?

I've never seen that done before than thought it might look a little different. Not to mention the fact that I'd be spending twice what I paid for the damn spoiler for a stupid piece of plastic.

Gonna see what one of my SVTOA buddies can come up with, works at a local stealership.. And I'll probably check with our body shop, they of all people should be able to find one on the cheap.

I'm thinking about doing something a little different actually.. Shaving the third brake light and putting the LED brake light at the top of the window. That way I could keep the functionality of having a third brake light, but have the spoiler be straight and clean.

Like this. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

Think that's too much?

I think that would be sick for sure, definitely look into doing that a little more
