Yeah that'd definitely be something to look into. Will provide for a nice clean, but safe look. Won't have to worry about getting **** for not having a 3rd light either. I'm sure you can find a pretty cheap one.

Good find there. I just don't get why everyone jerks off to that spoiler.

Probably because it's the cleanest one for our cars.. With all of the aftermarket stuff out there, this is really the only one that doesn't look severely bland or too extravagant.. It's right there in the middle, not really meant to be functional, but not totally fake. The GT wing is kind of boring, same with the 99/00 GT wing, most of the aftermarket wings are big and gawdy, like the cervinis, and then you've got funtional wings like the Steeda wing which are cool, but a little too much for the overall look of my car.

Honestly, I was not looking for this spoiler.. I just happened across it on Craigslist and snatched it up.

Like Dustin said, you got a hell of a deal. I just think that the Cobra wing is too big and bulky for that body style. Wingless is the best, in my opinion. I wish we had good stuff for 05-09's on Craigslist in my area. I found a carbon fiber ram air hood for $375, but I'm not too keen on carbon fiber, so I think I will pass that one by.

Just paint it. You can paint the CF just like any other hood.

As far as the Cobra spoiler being too big, have you seen the Saleen wing? You could literally take off with it...

Like this. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

Think that's too much?
Idk if you really need that third brake light. I say shave the spoiler, see how it looks and if you really end up wanting that third brake light then mount it in the window. It looks a hell of a lot better up there then molded in the trunk or spoiler, but i say just delete it completely.

I didn't know you could paint carbon fiber. The hood did have a little damage at the end of it.

Yes, I have seen the Saleen wing and it is horrible.

Hell yeah, you can paint CF! Most people don't do it either because they like to look of the CF or because they want it as light as possible.

I'd get it, looks pretty sick!

good find, but I don't think it will look good on your car. Since I already have a black car, I might as well take that off your hands for you. haha

Ha! Nice try.. But, being from Cali, you're gonna have to repaint your whole car soon anyway, so black's not gonna be any good for you either.

So, update. 99% sure it's gonna be shaved. Talked to the body shop today, we refer a lot of business to them so he's gonna hook me up, will probably take it to him Monday or Tuesday. Should be cool. Still undecided about the 3rd brake light in the window and I'm not sure about the color.

lol, no it's probably going to be white. I think he's going to prep it and shave the brake light for me and I'll come look at it still black then go from there. I kind of liked it sitting on the car in black, but who knows. I think the pictures really didn't do it any justice to how it actually did look.

I just got done cleaning all of the dirt and crap off of it, the guy had it sitting in his garage for a while apparently, cause there was all kinds of dirt and crap inside of the thing.. Ended up actually having to fill up my guest bath tub with warm water and let the spoiler soak in it for a few minutes. That's the first time I've actually used that tub for anything..... hahaha!

BTW: Telling me to paint it white over and over again just makes me want to paint it black to annoy you!

That spoiler looks fine on the cobras, because of the hood and other things on them. But on other cars I don't get it. But my style is much different then others as I would rather go faster.

How about going faster, AND looking good at the same time?

If you can't afford both then you best not be modding at all. lol.

I think the 99-04 Gt's look great with just a lower stance, different grill, chin done on the outside.

I agree, but a wheel change is definitely a must.
