A local guy spots a COBRA!!!

Appears to have the 13" and 12" brakes that the cobras come with.

im actually pretty stunned that they diddnt cover the car up or put it in a trailer. seeing as how they are not for sale till late 2006? what the hell is it doing on a flatbed? escpecially exposed to the elements? the cobra's are only for show purposes rright now. you'd think they'd take better carte of it

i wouldnt be suprised if it was a GT somone had worked up to look like a cobra.

then again, it might be the real thing.

Someone might have bought one. They do have 25 that have been produced. And select few were given the car by shelby and I saw somewhere that there were 5 sold for 90,000.00

Talk about a markup

It could be real, very real.
I wouldnt doubt it to be fake.
Besides ford is the only one with that body kit right now.

That may be true, but anyone with the right tools and equipment can manufacturer a body kit. There are some fabricators out there who could make that conversion in a couple weeks at most.im sure if you get out with a measuring tape you will see it wouldnt match exactly, but it would be close enough to fool just about anyone...

90,000?....

screw that. im sorry, but if i had 90k i would save up another 60k and get a 69 Boss 429.

Eh, boss's are great, but who would drive one...I mean, id drive it every once in a while, but for 60k, Id go zo6. *gasp*

Is that going to be your down payment? Because 60 grand wont get you a new z06. You are looking more into the range of 80+ grand.

Why in the world would you buy a boss 429 there worth alot but it was the biggest waste of a car. If you didnt put slicks on one of those it would just set there and burn up.......waste of a hemi car if you ask me but they do look sweet.

I have seen where the Eleanor kit is already available for the 05 and the wing is ready available also. I thought that the Cobra had the exhaust coming out of the center below the rear bumper.

Steveno, im not doubting you, but I havent read that five were sold anywhere. I would like to see the article though. Were they drivable models? Also, Mattj, Im talkin bout a used zo6.

Maybe I missed it, but that article didnt say anything about 5 cobra, and it was really old, talking about being able to buy a new lightning, which, got the axe.

there isnt an 05 cobra but the one spoted is the 07 GT500 shelby, and they are selling them already and states that it is already in production, gotta read the whole thing
