Awesome Autocross Action Shots!!!
These were taken back in November by a guy that came to one of the Arkansas region events and took alot of really great pictures. After plowing some cones I stoped in grid to pull that on out of the bumper and he gave me his card. His website is www.DeviantSpeed.com. I don't get many pictures of the car on course so I wanted to share these with you. Here is the link to the page that has pictures of all the cars that ran that day http://deviantspeed.com/gallery/v/Ev...autox11232008/
I don't have another event till late Febuary

You had a good assortment of vehicles show up to that event. How'd the go cart do? lol. Had some bigger cars that I didn't expect to see doing autocross like the old Impala and GTO.

Who made your sig Sean? That event we had the loacal Pontiac club show up. For most of them it was thier first event and they had alot of fun trying to get thoes big cars around the cones, alot more horsepower than brakes. The Impala driver is an old Veteran, he has a Firebird, Camaro, and that Impala that he races. I don't think he has ever won at nationals but he has won F-Stock and E-Street Prepared for as long as I can remember. The cart guy, well, he does OK. He's usually ends up missing a gate and doesn't finish. When he gets a good time, he's not much faster than most cars.

Wow I'm surprised that the go cart wouldn't have done better.
I made my sig. Kept it simple and just cropped it, threw a border on it, and put my name on it. Heres a quick one of that action shot:
Ask Pcola, he's really good at making sigs.

Back then the only stuff that I didn't have was the lower control arms, panhard Bar, X2 balljoints, and the aluminum steering rack bushings. Also, the clutch stuff but that doesn't have anything to do with suspension.
This season's Test & Tune is on the 22nd of Feb. with an event the next day so I will be able to really test it out but I know it will all make a big difference. I would like to have some higher rate springs but I need to decide if I want to go coilovers or not. Torque Arm will probably be the next big suspension mod.

Dude those pics are pretty BA! Man, that's some serious dive too! Autocross is great. Oh yeah, I don't think we're going to Hallett cause my bud got a full time internship at Shelby so he's too busy. O.o

Ah that sucks. Thanks for the heads up though. I need to start planning my open track event trip.

Yeah I'm definitely planning on it! Looks so damn fun. I know I'll be a ***** at first because I don't wanna hit cones and scuff the paint haha.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I hope this does encourage some of you to get into Autocross. It's one of the cheapest ways to get into competative racing, (and more fun than drag racing IMO).
Sean, you have pretty much the same suspension I had when I first got into AutoX and being V6 you'd probably do better by having less weight in the front. You'd be in Street Modified like me though but its all for fun. DO IT!
All this Autocross talk has me jonesing to cut some cones.

I have two sets of rims and tires, so so far they have lasted good, any I only drive about 6k miles a year. This comming up season my autoX "coach" said he is probably going to give me his '95 Cobra R rims (17x9.5 silver) and used Kuhmo v710s. The tires are pretty old but still R-compounds and stickier than the street tires I have. So thoes will last me maybe a whole season and then I will probably buy some more race tires if I have the spare money, or go back to my street tires if not. My coach is going with 315 tires on all four corners (98 Cobra w/ Vortec). I have started to get as fast as him also.

Yeah he has alot more power than traction. He has to work out the spacer sizing and rim offset so he doesn't rub and still have good turning abilities and a small spacer for the back and he should be good to go. It's going to look weird with the tires sticking out in the front though. 275 tires are enough for me.
