Default Picture Idea Help

So I'm going to be leaving in a few hours to go take pictures of my Mustang. I took it to the wash not to long ago, got waxed, clear coated, and shined. Since I can't seem to find a post that has light and looks good any where close. I'm going to go to our local mall and take pictures inside the parking garge since no one really uses it.

Question: What kind of pictures should I take? I'm not very good at this. For once I'm actually using a camera instead of my cell phone, although it does take good pictures.

Here's my tip: take a lot of pictures. Fill up your entire memory card. Take several pictures of the same angle, that way you can pick the best one.

Yeah, but what kind of pictures of what? I'm going to make my brother do it, haha.

Haha I don't know. Just browse some photoshoot threads and if you see something you like, remember it.

Do like some ground shots. To where the camera is close to the ground looking up. IMO sunset shots look sick, as well as shots down at the tip top of parking garages. You'll learn what you like as time goes on and like switch said just look through the other photoshoots and see what looks best.

I agree. Try to match the light with the cars bodylines, too. I know I'm a hypocrite if you look through my photos, but it's still good advice.

I can't help any. I suck at taking pictures. I don't know if it's my camera or me.

We both took some, inside a parking garge, but not the top because it was wet. Then took some at our old school, then my battery died before I wanted to take the last pictures of my lights. :/

It's too dark to do that stuff, just night stuff. I'll make a new thread soon.

Turn your exposure up at night and it looks just like daylight. Like this...

To me these type of pictures look amazing. I don't live anywhere with enough back lighting to look like this but OMG it's so pretty.

Dude that is ******* hot, but I don't have that either. :/ My roads just iced up, so it's little hard to get places. We took over 100 pictures I believe and I love taking night pictures only, I don't know why. My rims and car look better at night. Otherwise the rims look ugly with my car. LoL

So I just got done going through them, my half of the pictures. I deleted a lot and saved 38. The picture quality looks like **** kind of or it's just me, as well some blury or whatever. I will upload them on here soon if you'd like. My phone seem to be better though.

Camera I used Sony Cyber-Shot 3.1 Mega Pixels Super Steady Shot DSC-T20
The one my little brother used I have no idea. I didn't use a flash on mine, just a few.
