That's about 120 extra pounds of weight, plus without some sort of box behind the subs it would sound pretty bad too.

yea 1/4 mile time doesnt matter that much to me. as long as a ricer doesnt take me im happy with how fast i am. for now atleats. money goes so much further with looks than performance. especially when i got a guy to paint whatever i want for the cost of paint. right now im gettn a 2000 cobra r hood put on with the extractors cut out with chrome inserts in them. and then i got the roush stage 3 front fascia going on. after that im upgrading rims and tires. then lowering it. im not going to put a couple hundred into the car to make it shave a tenth in the quarter mile. no thanks. and as far as the box being behind the subs, if anyone ever even considered not using a box, they shouldnt listen to music
