Talking Eh' what the heck..

I know, I know, not a Mustang..

Decided to finally give the Stratus a bath today (since it was up to about 55) and decided to snap a few quick pics..

Only changes really are the Sylvania turn signals and the new tires. HID's coming soon (should be here next week) and hope to have the windows tinted by the end of the month.

car looks good man, and of course any time you wash a car it always tends to bring rain, I know it does for me.

Yeah I'm lucky right now, I just got my car washed and everything, looks so nice, and I love how my rims were done. I just wish I could take pictures and hopefully the weather stays dry. :/

Google is your friend. But otherwise, they are High Intensity Discharge headlamps. Basically they use xenon gas and ballasts to create much brighter light using less power.
Picture of my pony with 8000K bi-xenon HIDs

(8000K is the color temperature, which is light blue in this case. they can come in any color all the way up to crazy deep blue purple, but that hurts the actual amount of visible light)

Cant have red HIDs. You can go yellow,white,white/blue tint, blue, super blue, purple. That's it for the color choices. The higher up the scale you go in temp the less actual light that is projected.

I was just curious because my friend works for them or something. He's asking me to ask around for him and I just got curious. Thank you!

I got mine for 110 shipped, and they are bi-xenon, which means you still get low and high beams. So 40 dollars for labor? It took around 30-45 mins, mostly due to inconvenient choices for mounting locations for the ballasts on our cars.
I failed to mention earlier I always thought those year stratus looked good. And yours is a damn clean example. Even if it is a damn mopar.

I don't even know, he said I can get anything I want. Which sounds like he works for them, gets a discount, or has some connection (steeling maybe). Why is it so much, isn't it just a blub? I kind of want to do it, but then I don't because of a problem I have with my front bumper.

No, it is not just a bulb. "Xenon" headlight may just be bulbs, its a word thrown around with "HID look!" and crap like that. You want real HIDs which means a bulb that works more like a florescent system, and ballasts which up the power to the headlights. Completely different.
But seriously lets not jack this thread further, I feel like a pirate.
