I don't know if they put anything on the roads there when it got snowing, but here they put sand/salt and a mixture of other chemicals on our roads to keep them from icing and I wash that stuff off as often as I can. If you leave them on, say goodbye to your paint and if you take it off you should be good.

Im in Columbus, Ohio. Its gonna be a hard winter, if what weve seen so far is any indication. Had freezing rain last night, this morning, the street looked like an ice skating rink. My car doors were froze shut. The Mustang is put up for the winter, and will never see snow. I have had it since September, and it hasnt even been wet by rain yet. No way will it ever see snow.
