ok guys im looking to buy a new set of wheels pretty soon, a friend of mine is looking to sell me his wheels, i put 2 of them on the stang today at work and backed it out of the shop into the sun. let me know what you think of them. hoping to get them in the next couple of weeks.

I love fr500's, but the color combo isn't doing it for me.

 

really doobie, i think any other combo would suck, maybe black but thats it.

yeah, i was thinking black would be killer. the color of the car doesnt lend itself well too any other color rim imo

 

yeah this is my 98 it was my first car, got it when i was 15, traded it in for the 03 and after 3 1/2 years i found it and it was a good deal so i bought it back. the 03 is kinda my dads primary driver now because he is trying to keep the miles off his 97.

 

i used to have black wheels on the 03 and i got tired of them seems like everyone has black wheels and thats another reason why im thinking chrome fr's because not very many people run them

 

i love the wheels but on that year its not doing it for me

 

I think it looks pretty killer! It goes well with the chrome MUSTANG GT letters in the rear bumper, switch out those exhaust tips for polished instead of brushed and it would all flow very nicely. Good looking car by the way!

friend of mine has a sn95, same color, chrome wheels... looks sick. he wins a lot of car shows. get them.

DO IT! the only other wheels that would look good on that car are cobra R's but I like the fr500's better

 

Yup, the FR's look really nice. Only other wheel that would work for your car IMO would be Saleens, but I actually think the FR's would look better. That particular paint color begs for "bling" wheels (chrome) and I think it pulls the look off nicely.

Not feelin' it. Love the 500s, but I've never been a fan of them on sn95s. Maybe some Chrome Cobra Rs?

heres with the wheels that are on it now


and i had a set of 18" cobra r's on it for a couple of months but i gave them back to my dad


the 18's were nice but i traded my dad the 01 cobras for them and the cobras looked horible on his car so i swapped back with him. looking to do something different and you dont really see too many chrome fr500's and especially on the sn95's thats one of the reasons my im getting them plus im getting them with brand new tires for $600 kinda of a deal i cant really pass up
and the 01 cobras will have some drag radials on them and will be my track wheels

Sn95s can go bad real quick. I personally dont like the 500 wheels for our year stang. It may be the the SN95 looks too stock. I think your current wheels look better. Im going to try something new that has yet to be seen on SN95s but if it does not look good I wont hesitate to change it again.
