Default H&R SS and HID pics

Had the day off, cleaned the car up a bit. Haven't posted pics in some time, in the meanwhile I have added H&R super sports as well as a 8000K bi-xenon kit, very nice. No I know I am no photographer, but here a few shots I thought did not come out horrible, and demonstrate the lowering and HIDs. (undesirable shadows are abound)

lol, in all reality 8000k is not very blue, that last pic shows what they look like most of the time. I think what happened on that second to last pic was an odd angle, and shadow. Either way, i much prefer them to silverstars, or my old hyper yellow lights =D
If you want blue, I should take some pics of the HIDs I installed on my friends neon... 15000k. Thats right, 15 0 0 0k, not 1500k.
They are so incredibly blue... but pretty much useless next to mine.

The last pic is still really blue, but to each his own you know, it still looks good. And your friend is a fuckbag for having HID's that high in the temp the highest I have ever seen is 12k and those are purple I wouldn't think 15k would be blue. Regardless I bet it looks like a great bag of ricer ****. But that's just my opinion.

You can get silverstar ultra's, they are pretty damned white. I still say it is worth the extra vision... ultra's are 49.99+tax, whereas my HID's were 105 shipped... very nice ballasts and wiring etc. You can get whatever color temperature suits your fancy

eBay my friend, eBay. No, I didn't initially trust the idea of buying HIDs from china for cheap, but after installing those obnoxious HIDs in my friends neon, I was so impressed with the quality that I went for the bi-xenon ones... Not that I enjoy taking business away from AM, but I also don't want to spend 270 dollars on lighting, when I can spend less for the same thing. Chinese made yes, but damn they are nice. I did however take a countermeasure, I bought and installed a fire extinguisher in the car (mounted it to the back of the passenger side rear seat, so it folds down) Painted it to match the car, even though I keep it out of view, I was bored. Better safe than sorry?

I bought mine from user super_digi, at his eBay store justplaza_com_usa
Just_Plaza_com_USA 9007 BiXenon
Any of those will work, just pick your temp. Honestly, The slim ballasts seem like a waste in our cars, I had no problem finding a place to mount the normal ones, which are about 4x3x1inches, whereas the slim are half the height, but just as wide and long, so who cares?
EDIT: I should mention that they do seem to ship from china(the paperwork is partially in chinese, with chinese stamping from EMS etc) but it should arrive in 4 days, just be sure to email him your name, telephone number, bixenon, 9007, and color temp.

I was able to hide my ballasts behind the battery.

http://manyadeal.com/

my friend has these on his turbo Volvo 740. He says the install was easy and the quality is outstanding. they looked great! for a 9007 bulb setup from this site, it costs less than 50 bucks (40 more dollars for bixenon.) not sure if anyone has heard any more about this site, but i am going to give them a shot when my funds allow me.

I would say those look like mine @ 8k
The place I got mine does not carry an 893 bulb, so I will have to buy from another purveyor. I think that these kits are currently coming down in price and gaining in popularity as well as availability. There is very little reason now not to spring for the HID headlights... so do it =D
20,000K HID
For you spike! Seriously, these HID's must be dimmer than stock halogen, 20,000K???
EDIT: I thought that was cool, the picture with the bulbs and ballasts in the water, hah

is there a way to wire the yellow turn signals to only work when you turn on your blinkers? So there is no yellow unless i turn on my blinkers to make a lane change.

Not sure. But I find that the chrome-tinted signal bulbs from stangmods are pretty dim. With just the parking lights on they're a deep amber and really aren't bright unless the blinker is on.
