Went with two of my friends to Sac Raceway a couple weeks ago and never posted pics.

 

 

 

v6 was out of commission so didnt get to participate. Lots of guys from the svtperf forums showed up and the other guy we met there had the sti.

Best times:
STi: 12.8
67 Camaro rs/ss: 13.4
Mach 1: 13.8

 

nice man.. loved the orange pony on orange roush front bumper.. who won the sti/muscle showdown race?

 

That's pretty sad, all of those nice cars and beaten by a ******* STI..lol. I take it the cobra didn't run?

 

sti won...my friends camaro was all fawked up at the beginning because it had been sitting for like 6 months and he just busted it out to bring it to the races. He ended up fixing some of the "cutting" out that he was experiencing with the engine. But when the sun went down the sti owned everyone.

The reallllly nice black one? There was hella cobras like that, that ran but didnt do all that great. The IRS made the cobra bounce around alot. The Yellow Saleen Whooped on everyone. The GT500 lost to a s/c Mach 1.

The car that was not built for drag racing that destroyed everyone was a BRAND SPANKIN NEW Zo6. Still had the dealership license plates haha way to break in that new car eh? That HUGE truck did a 16.2 or something lol

 

Holy modded Mustangs. I could probably name only 2 mustangs with visual mods around here.

 

I cant believe that the Mach1 beat out the GT500 ? thats unreal!

 

Well it was supercharged and much lighter.

 

LMK next time you're fix'n to go. I might just have the beast back.
