Mom's new car-updated with new pics
here are some pics of my moms new california special. i am sooooo jealousjust thought i would share them.
my stepdad put the hoodscoop on last night when they got back from picking it up. he has a roll bar he will be putting in next weekend. wants to put the roush strip on it also and upgrade the brakes and tint the windows. i just wished my mom lived a lot closer, like next door!

meh the GT CS isn't anything special. all it is, is a GT with a body Kit. I get to drive one around the dealership that i work out once a day and there really nothing special. I also drove a GT and to me the sound the same and have the same amount of power. It still looks good none the less.

nope. no supercharger
As a tribute to the 1968 California Special, FORD added a limited production factory GT/California Special in 2007. The GT/CS is based on a Mustang GT with a 4.6 liter engine. The GT/CS option adds unique floor mats, side stripes (with GT/CS behind the front wheel RH and LH), 18" polished aluminum wheels, rolled exhaust tips, pony center cap (with words "California Special"), lowered front bumper/valance and unique rear bumper. The 2007 GT/CS can be ordered as a coupe or convertible, with manual or automatic transmission. Colors are Red, Black, Blue and White. The GT/California Special package for 2007/2008 is an additional $1895.00

you have the car to back that statement up?

what i feel about the CS'es, is that your just paying for the name. your not getting any real content with the CS package. better to get a base GT and mod it.
EDIT: still a nice looking car though.

What are you talking about? The CS has a different front and rear bumper cover, side scoops, hood scoop, two tone interior standard, 18 inch polished wheels standard, etc...
I would say from a BASE GT, it looks a hell of a lot better/different.
