I don't mean anything disrespetful by my comments, I just really never liked the style that the older Z06's had. Im sure the car is a monster, but I personally would have either kept the other 'Stangs or gotten a newer Z06.
Hey man, I'm 23 lol. It's hard enough trying to afford a C5 Z06 lol. My plan was an '08 Z51 vette or a Last gen C5 Z06. After driving the Z06 it really blew the doors off the '08. It was an easy decision.

I will however admit that no corvette is sexier than an '03/'04 cobra. That car just exudes menace. I absolutely loved it.

Yeah but when you hit up Sebring 6 times a year, homestead three times and moroso 2 times. Not much is straight out there lol.

The red one had 56,000 miles on it but everything aside from that was mint and I got $14,900 for it.

The black one had 19,000 miles on it and it was even minter (if there were such a word) and I got $16,500 for it.

Please do. I'll never forget what it's like to drive one of those. Honestly they're something special, as is the whine of that roots blower on my old cobra.

On the bright side my brother has a Mach so I can still drive one if the itch gets too great.

There is one thing that bothers me about the air surrounding a corvette owner... Instead of the cool guy with all the mustangs, I'm now the arrogant ***** with the bright yellow corvette. I guess there isn't much you can do about the first judgement lol.

Oh well...

Wtf TC? You've become the Douche of MB. Suddenly every post you make is trash talk or some other kind of oral diarrhea. Apparently going from the sixxer to the big bad GeeTee has gone to your head.

I don't like the car, and that's my opinion. You don't like it, I don't care! There is NO way in the world I would give up 2 Mach 1's and a Terminator for a bowtie, but if that's what he wanted. More power to him!

Congrats. A buddy of mine got rid of his Roush and his GT about a year ago for a 03 Z06...the car now puts out over 650 RWPH.. Borla Exhaust, aggressive cam, internal work and like a 150 shot of nitrous along with some other stuff...

None the less, the cobra is sinister..but that z06 is class with even more of an edge.

Nice upgrade man. the 03-04 cobra is nice and comes with a forged bottom end and a power adder, but you can't beat the smooth shifting, light as hell N/A z06. My buddie's dad has one with just catback and intake and that car halls *** and the ride is very smooth. Don't worry what everyone else say thats just there opinion that is a bad *** car. Get some black rims and put a big *** cam on that bitch!

Lol, I assume you've never seen how the turbo cars dwindle away as the car heats up at the track.

You go do 15 laps (in May-August in Florida) of a long road course like Sebring (3.7 miles) and see how a TT setup holds up lol. A whipple is the only S/C setup that holds up out there but it still lays down and dies when the heat rises.

Yeah seriously guys, focus on the topic of this thread, not talking **** to one another. Everyone's got a wicked car here so get over it lol.

And just to put the issue to rest, if I wasn't aimed at building a track car (not a drag car, a road course car) I would never have bought a 'vette. I still secretly want to get a vanity plate that says "I wish this were a mustang". But I think I'd get some **** for that from the Chevy fan boys lol.

Honestly, it really is a no brainer if you've ever had your car out on a big road course. Those big power adders always come at a HUGE price out there. I have a video on youtube of one of my days at Sebring. I passed a GT500 three times that day out... Definitely wasn't on his first lap, he was hauling *** then; 7-8 laps later, he was in the way. And that was in my Mach 1!

Im not sure if your married but be prepared to have a bucket when the ladies start throwing their panties at you

I understand some of you being harsh but the fact of the matter is the vette is a luxary sports car and mustang is just an everymans sports car. Your mostly paying for the power and not much else on the mustang. The vette has more comfort and panty dropping ability .

Nope, not married here. Single actually. The really ironic thing is that most girls that have known me through my series of cars (V6 Mustang ->BULLITT -> Mach 1 -> Cobra -> Corvette) have like the Red Mach the best... They all claim it was the sexiest thing in the world.
