no, it's flat black. The sun was always glinting off it at the wrong time in hard turns on my favorite little back road so I painted it flat black. Problem solved.

exactly correct.

the hairpin is 1.5 cars wide, so you have to be in the middle coming up the hill and go from right to left headed down it. The whole road is only 12ft wide through most of its run. The nissan was on my side headed at me and flat haulin' *** and I was putt-putting around the corner setting up my corner exit. I saw him just as I matted the pedal for the exit and I tried to get to the edge of my side, he tried for the middle and just failed to miss me.

thing about it that pissed me was it was commute hour and he was going in the anti-commute direction on the single most dangerous road in the area. dumbass I swear.

Still, got it fixed.

 

that's 100% of my motivation normally. You wouldn't make a M-16 with a place to put a vase full of flowers. No sense in making a race car look like it'll do anything else.

 

lol...Im the same way to a degree. I like it either plain or functional.

 

I like it to be fast, and to look good at the same time.

 

+1 I have the looks down just not the speed. But then again my hood is actually fuctional.

And yes it matters who made it. OEM body parts are always better to have especially for things like limited production parts. 1, they fit better and 2, they're real Ford. Mine is from a real 2000 R. That makes it extra neato to me. Somewhere there's an R with a naked butt because of me.

If you're fixin'a buy one off ebay make sure the end caps are aluminum not plastic and that it comes with the little dealies for inside the trunk. 01+ cars have to drill.
