tails tinted

Default tails tinted

got my vht niteshades from pep boys and some clear, and heres the results. i wanted it a little darker but only bought one can of vht, but im still happy with it

oh and yeah it had just rained

they look a little dull. how many coats of clear did you use? and did you sand before and after you applied the clear coats?

yeah i did like 3 coats of clear, i didnt want the real shiny look but thanks for the compliments

how do you do that i mean just start spraying it on and then spray clear when its wet i would like to do that also. and when you hit the brakes can you see through it good?

clean it up real good with rubbing alcohol and then i used one full can of vht. then i let that dry overnight before spraying the clear. Yes you can see through them fine when the lights are on

just did this to my stang...i got rid of the autobadges tint for VHT

and u wanted darker but only had 1 can? I did my tails darker than urs, 3rd brake light, and side reflectors and still have a tiny bit left in the can...

but for a cleaner look wet sand it with some 1000grit to 2000grit...
