good gawd who would keep a car still wrapped up from factory and all the other things mentioned in the auction, thats just nutz!
I would have it sitting in a garage with centralized cooled air of course with no dust, but **** drive it every once in a while to a car show or something!

That's sick it only has 11 miles on it. I'd have a 50,000 miles on it if it were mine.

I like to think of my car as my own version of a 00' R. They are sick fast.
The front splitter comes detatched from the factory. If you want it on the car, you put it on after you take delivery or the dealer gets a hardon and puts it on.
I'd be worried about a car that hasn't been started in 2 years though.

What year Z06 are you talking about beating it in every test?
I am surprised actually the price is 90k; didn't think it would get that high considering the car was about 50-55k when new and its only 7years old. Just might hit 100k!!

I think they only made 300. Its going to be worth BIG money soon.
#23
Yep they did make 300 just shocked its almost doubled its value in 7yrs. Granted this is likely the lowest mileage car in the country.

Lol..I was talking to my friend about this and he can't possibly comprehend why a "2000 mustang" can double in price and become more valuable as time goes on when BMW M3's and lambos don't.
"i don't know why people would pay so much, its gonna be worth the same in ten years"
Yes I told him they only made 300 yet he was still asking why lamborghinis drop in price as time goes on.......

I think the owner of that car is a moron and so is anyone who would buy it unless it is going in a museum. Who the hell buys a car like this and then sticks in a garage still in a wrapper?
Assuming the jackass spent $60k on the car (sticker says $54k), if he had plugged the money in the stock market he would have $120 - $160k today instead of a car that you think might be worth $90k. Not to mention the insuarance that he would have to pay all those years and the cost of storage.
Call me crazy, but seems to me that the guy finally woke up and smelled the coffee otherwise he wouldn't be selling it.
Cars are NEVER a good invetment unless you either stole it up front, or found an idiot to give you too much for it later (or booth).
This is why I think programs like Barret Jackson do a dis-service somethimes. Everyone thinks their cars are worth more then they are. In this case, I bet if this guy stuck this car on BJ, he would be lucky to get sticker for it. No one really cares that much about these anymore.....who knows, maybe in 20 to 30 years they will.
