Ok guys n gals,,she WILL be running by Sunday
Spent yesterday hooking up this and that. Waiting on new H pipe. There is oil and water in the car. Put the upper/lower and TB on yesterday. Just have to finish up a little bit of wiring on the inside. Hoping to not have any major issues and be back on the road Monday!!!!

Thanks. If the wife would have come off a few more dollars the perfect time to do the K member when I had the motor out. Lack of funds means no K member. At least I lost some weight w/the getting rid of the AC and PS.

Thanks Clemson. Ended up w/a couple "issues" tho.
1) Guess I didn't read or see the part on sheet that came w/the windage tray. I can't get the dipstick in now. No way am I pulling the motor out just to fix that issue.
2) I filled the darn thing w/oil before starting and for some dumb reason the low oil dummy light is on. Is this cause of the windage tray? I don't know. I'll be changing the oil soon and putting in the good stuff so Im not to worried. 50psi at idle so I KNOW there is oil in it.
3) Will not idle when it's cold!! Once warm tho idles right at 900 w/nice lopey idle from the Holley cam. Took about an hour of rough running for the new parts to get acclimated to my motor and for some reason it idles n responds well to throttle response now.
I have an appt. at Goodyear for an alignment Friday morn at 0830. I've set the wheels at what (in my eyes) looks like 0 toe. Gonna get the steering wheel as close to straight as I can and leave the castle nuts just snug so if they need to get the tie rod ends backed in our out they can.
I will find someone w/a digital camera and get a vid. for you guys!!!!!!

man i hear ya, it took me a few weeks to get all the little things taken care of. i went with an Fcam (way to big for my heads) and it idled ok at first, but wouldnt pull above 3500 for a few miles. as i put more and more miles on it (like more then 300 now) its getting better and better. but i still really need a fuel pressure regulator.
bad *** car man!
