After replacing the Cobra w/this 87 GT I have started to do a couple things. Spent this evening working out placement of gauges and routing of oil temp wire and sensor. The empty one is going to be the water temp gauge.

UPS will be here tomorrow with my Holly Systemax upper/lower, heads, cam, injectors mass air meter and hardware.

That thing better run sub 10's if you traded it for a 03 Cobra.......

 

Wow...that is a lot of red.

 

My 03 Cobra (which was paid off) went 12.2's on a 90+ degree day. Dyno'd at 478/499.

When I got this it dyno'd at 249/289. That's with a GT40 crate motor with the regular EFI intake. My goal is to make it just as fast as the Cobra. Last owner went 13.4's with it on a hot day as well. Trust me, it will be up to snuff by January!!!!
