the ride couldve been horrible cause he was using either stock shocks/struts or had his aftermarket shocks/struts blown....from what i hear...bilstien and some sort of lowering spring are MUCH better than stock

Awesome man, really love your ride and good job on going original and doing something different with the rims, they look badass too., Mad props on that!
And by springs, as long as you dont get crappy springs you will have a nice ride, and dont get anything too low because then your just going to blow your shocks and then thats when your going to have a crappy ride. Get a nice set of H&R springs and it will handle badass and ride awesome.

Also.. for me it was much more impressive "in person" when I lowered my car than pics I looked at on the internet. Once you see the stance first hand, you have a new appreciation for the difference it makes. Now when I see lowered cars on the boards, I can appreciate the difference in them.
The car will also "feel" different to you. Much more sporty and fun to drive. I still have the stock shocks but I only have 19,000 mi on my car so they ride "ok". Not great.. but "ok". I do feel feel the potholes more than I used to. I'll eventually upgrade shocks when the stockers show enough wear.

ahh glad to have a fellow 04 six on the boards...is it the 3.9L?
Ya i would suggest the H&R super sport springs...i have them on mine and they rock! and ride better than stock.
But i would suggest some tint, blackout taillights, dual exhaust (mac, flowmaster, or magnaflow), and a chin!
