nice rims...I've not seen them before. Good looking car. Needs springs ASAP and it will look way better than it already does.

Stang28 08-26-2006 06:26 PM

Nice. What type of tire dressing did you use cause those babies are shinnin?

Lances03SVT 08-26-2006 06:26 PM

Love the wheel's but damn that thing is lifted!!!

monarch 08-26-2006 06:29 PM

Black Magic on the tires

monarch 08-26-2006 06:34 PM

i'm not too technical...so when you say i need springs, are you talking about lowering my ride?

Stan 08-26-2006 06:36 PM

i thought about it lowering it, but i hate the ride of a lowered car. i ilke the look but not the ride.

My Gt rode better than stock with the H&R sport spring's.

maybe it was the setup or choice of spring on the lowered 99 mustang i rode in. thanks for the tips. i will consider it. the next thing on my agenda is dual exhaust & a chin spoiler. i'm trying to find some sound clips of different v6 with dual. i heard one clip posted on this board. it didn't sound too bad, but the pitch was higher than i would like. i don't want to sound like the burners

PureStang 08-26-2006 07:16 PM

the ride couldve been horrible cause he was using either stock shocks/struts or had his aftermarket shocks/struts blown....from what i hear...bilstien and some sort of lowering spring are MUCH better than stock

Exactly. Bilsteins and H&R Race Springs FTW. Rides good, handles great, looks good.

do you like that combo better than the SS's you had in your GT?

Bilsteins are the sh!t.

Lances03SVT 08-26-2006 10:04 PM

Yea the ride is awesome.

SpinMedia 08-26-2006 10:13 PM

Awesome man, really love your ride and good job on going original and doing something different with the rims, they look badass too., Mad props on that!

And by springs, as long as you dont get crappy springs you will have a nice ride, and dont get anything too low because then your just going to blow your shocks and then thats when your going to have a crappy ride. Get a nice set of H&R springs and it will handle badass and ride awesome.

yup...H&R's are great. probably the best. I suggest you get the shocks for sure when you do your springs...the stock ones suck anyway.

Also.. for me it was much more impressive "in person" when I lowered my car than pics I looked at on the internet. Once you see the stance first hand, you have a new appreciation for the difference it makes. Now when I see lowered cars on the boards, I can appreciate the difference in them.

The car will also "feel" different to you. Much more sporty and fun to drive. I still have the stock shocks but I only have 19,000 mi on my car so they ride "ok". Not great.. but "ok". I do feel feel the potholes more than I used to. I'll eventually upgrade shocks when the stockers show enough wear.

H&R Race or Sport springs and Bilstein Shocks/Struts. Best stuff out there if you ask me(and Lance)

I dont rub at all.

ahh glad to have a fellow 04 six on the boards...is it the 3.9L?

Ya i would suggest the H&R super sport springs...i have them on mine and they rock! and ride better than stock.

But i would suggest some tint, blackout taillights, dual exhaust (mac, flowmaster, or magnaflow), and a chin!

TClark22 08-27-2006 07:57 PM
