Default Tried Mikes Scratch-X method

Well, washed the car today, so I decided to give the Scratch X a shot in some places using Mikes handy tips. Heres some before:

After of same spot:

Another before

and the after, and yes, I got rid of all the excess crap on there.

I know, not the same angle on some, but it did help a lot. My hand felt like it was going to fall off cause I did a few coats on another area that didnt work too well, but it was a deeper scratch. Take it for what its worth, I know my paint needs so much help its not even funny, but this did an ok job on the spots.

Man your paint is in horrible shape, just pay someone to do it for you. A good detail job is $100 or so. It would take a long time from the looks of those pics.

we just polished and waxed my older brothers 99 audi a4 (my mustang and his mustang for tommoro!)with our new porter cable... which was a scratch jungle, now looks sexy *** hell and looks like a new audi... If there was any really bad scratches we would have broken out the scratch X, but that porter cable did.. REALLY well

I used scratch x with a 10" bonnet on my old craftsman buffer.

Did good job once followed up with Meguiars NXT Tech Wax and MF bonnet.

I'm buying me a porter cable as soon as I get my new car. I hope to open my own business one day dealing with auto detailing. I love that stuff.
