Default Pic of the hood pin's!!

I had to have them make a special bracket for the pin's to work with my hood since it is so thick where the pin's are normally installed and alot of people wanted to see how it was done.Well here is a pic of the left side.

Yes the engine is dirty,it's been raining for almost 2 week's!!

The sides of the VIS CF hood's are very thick. The Ford Racing pin's would'nt have been long enough from the rubber stopper hole's.So they came up with the bracket idea!!

you didnt install them yourself. I installed my set where the plugs are at it, but i ordered mine from summit. Are you gonna shift the holes so they run the long ways of your hood or stay where there at?

Paint your chin spoiler a glossy black or your body color. It'll set off your carbon fiber hood a lot better than the dull chin spoiler plastic.

If my car was black (wait a second...) and I had a CF hood, Id have to paint it. I can see it being left on DSG or Mineral Gray, but it is TOO gray to leave on black unpainted.

ive always been afraid someone can come over and open your hood on you (provided you are gone) if you dont use the latch.
