Default Update/Pics

I went through quite a hassle to get my exhuast installed, but it's done and i am very pleased. I ordered the mac y-pipe bolt on kit and when they delivered it to my house, there was a 3.5" tip and a 3" tip. Wasn't that big of a deal, i talked to mac and she asked me if i wanted the 3.5 or 3...i said i'd take the 3.5. She said that wasnt something taht came with the exhaust kit, but she'd give it to me because of the trouble, cool. I installed the exhaust with just 1 tip on for a while, until i got the next one. By that time the hangers from ford i ordered were in as well so i went to pic them up. then i got the tip, and of course its the 3" one, and i had already installed the 3.5 on my car. So i took that off and i went to install the 3" on both sides, and the guy at ford didnt get me the right hangers. I told him i needed them off a gt parts list and not a v6, but he ordered the ones for a v6... so i took them back, waited another 3 days and finally got what i needed. I had read people were paying like $60 for their hangers, mine were $23. so its finally together, i gave it a wash and here are the results...(i know i need to get the dealer sticker off)

captain asshoel to the rescue!

not digging the foglights man... not that anyone should go out and buy 200 dollar foglights for sn95's, but just stick to clear IMO, got mine from autzone for <20 for my old six

(and they look mean as hell at night/all the time, which is when i have them on)

they always are on our SN95s... dont know why, but my v6 MACs are off, my brothers were too on his old 94v6, my friend has flowmasters on his 96gt and they are off, and i think they were a bit off when stang00 got his...
i originally explained this to myself as the kit just not fitting right with the Y pipe, as 4 of the cases here are v6s... and the only GT can be explained as my friend owning a POS ugly gt with altezzas that he has YET to replace since he bought it, ugly bubbling chrome cobra Rs.... the list goes on...
so... i think that all V6 exhausts are off... although on my old six one just stuck out almost half an inch further

Yea, I tried so many times to get it to look the same, but i couldn't. that's about the best i could do, it was a hassle to get that exhaust on. Yes, i know springs...i was going to do it a lot sooner, but i had to pay $1200 to get a gasket leak fixed and it put a hold on a few things, considering i have to pay for college next school year. i was actually thinking about doing gears, tlok, and tuner type thing next. does that xcal 2 work for my year? it says 96 and up on MT, so i wasnt sure.

sharp ride. those wheels set it off. get rid of the blue fogs and put a bigger tire on the rear and it will be perfect

I am pretty sure it wont work, because we do not have the same computer setup as 96+, which is OBDII, we have OBDI... so if you ever had a 'check engine' light and went to autozone to get your codes checked, they cant do it! you have to find a local shop that still has OBDI spec stuff! :censored:

looks good , but as for the Mac Exhaust The tips are fully adjustable, mine were off when i first got it put on the left one to be exact, but after i got under it and pushed and shoved a little they are both exactly the same....

I think then you might have there newer system, the one that looks powedercoated black and has tips, whereas my exhaust is triple chrome from halfway over the rear axle on back... and the rest is a light silver powdercoat. Oh well my magnaflows look much better on the new GT
