Default Need an intake/breather hose 02 GT

I have a 2002 GT with a K&N intake.. There is a hose about half way up the intake pipe about 5-6inches long that connects to a black box (sensor of some kind?) which is then connected to the plenum..

I'm needing that hose...

Apparently mine has had a huge crack in it for 1+yr.. I bought the car used so I assumed the occasional whistle was the k&n.. Can anyone tell me what that hose connects to and why?

I've looked everywhere on the web and haven't found it... thanks guys.
