Hey Randy, you ever done night time deep sea fishing. I am going this weekend in the gulf from 8pm to 4am. Just curious to if you have done it, and how you liked it? I've never done it, but have only heard about how great the fishing is at night?

 

HELL YES, I absolutley LOVE night fishing!!

WEll bad news, we didn't get to do any night fishing. The boat we usually go on is a 32', and there was a cold front coming in through the gulf and the seas were 6-7' so he didn't want to take the boat out. But, we did go Saturday morning from 6-2pm on a bigger 54' boat.

The fishing was decent, we only caught 62lbs of fish (compared to the 182lbs in June), but we were having big problems with dolphins. They ate half the damn fish we brought up. But, we still got some good Grouper (9lb was the biggest), Red Snapper (8lb biggest) and some trigger, amber jack, and a couple others that I can't remember the name of. WE also caught a good ole Ramora (damn trash fish!)

But, all in all it was a good trip and we plan on next time we go to try the night fishing again.

hahahaha. is funny my friend is scared of dolphins if he sees one in the water he wont get in.
Like in key west he was in the water and saw a dolphin and darted but the next day a shark came up to us and his dumb *** stated to chase after it in the water. doesnt make since

 

well I'm glad to sea someones catching fish Ive been trying to go for the last 3 weekends and the last 2 nights but between being sick, bad weather and work I've not been able to put my boat in the water
