But Keyshawn does have something TO doesn't...A Super Bowl Ring.
so until TO has one, TO can have all the stats in the world, but I'm sure Keyshawn would rather have the ring.

I just replied about this in the other thread. Anywho, sometimes the superbowl ring doesn't matter. You can get a ring just for sitting your *** on a bench for 5 years. Yes Owens is a big mouth, but at least he can usually back up what he is saying. He is a damn good receiver. Then you get people like Chad Johnson who talk so much crap and promise wins and blah blah blah, and where are the struggling Bengals?

I agree, thats why I was stating at least Owens can back up being a damn good player.

no, but what I am saying is when someone does that, just ignore them and don't give them the time off day. all it does is show Johnson and Owes immaturity.

I bet if TO ends his career w/out a SB, he'd gladly trade all his worthless stats for Keyshawns SB Ring.
your conduct and play on and off the field (penalties, running your mouth, did you obey the rules to best of your ability, drug use, performance enhancing drugs, etc), did you listen to your coach or did you argue and create problems, playoff games won, Super Bowls won, and so on and so forth.
with that said, TO, Keyshawn, Anthony Smith (of the Steelers), Eddie Kennison, Michael Irvin, & Deion Sanders would never get into the HOF...haha.
also if you didn't win a Super Bowl, you should never even get near the HOF IMO.
SB Victory + Pro Bowl appearance + good solid consistent stats+ good conduct/performance should be the criteria for getting elected into the HOF.

i agree..HOF should be overall conduct and performance

What if you have a 10 time pro bowl WR that has reset just about every recieving record on the book..... he finally makes it to the superbowl, he's put up monster numbers his whole career, and in the Superbowl game, but his team is down by 6 points with 1 minute to go and his dip **** QB throws an interception on the other side of the field and they lose.....the next year he retires after a great 10 year career. So he shouldn't get in to the HOF because his QB is an idiot? Sorry dude, that's not realistic and you know it.
