Thumbs up New weapon for Dallas!!

Terry Glenn is extremely close to returning to the field...Glenn was our number 1 reciever and is just as good as owens!! Can't wait to have him back! He kicked *** last year and now we'll have two deep weapons..defenses won't be able do double cover owens and glenn at the same time.....Woot!!!

Terry Glenn's so old, he makes Joe Namath look young.

You're smoking crack...glenn is younger than owens and if you don't think that man has amazing skills than you are not watching football! He is worth gold right now! Nobody has any tape on him and won't know what will hit them once playoff time comes around! Jason Garrett is doing a phenomenal job with the offense scheme and I can't wait to see how he will use him once he's back up and running! If I was in charge of the offense and we make it to the superbowl I'd wait and use him until then. Nobody would know what would hit them since nobody has seen him play this year.. You can't double cover owens, witten and glenn all the time...

Are you serious about Glenn being as good as Owens? Let me give you just a few career stats, and mind you they BOTH came in the league in 1996.

Terry Glenn (1996-2007)
136 games played
593 receptions
8,823 Yards
14.9 Average
64 yards per game average
44 Touchdowns

Terrell Owens (1996-2007)
171 games played
875 receptions
12,985 yards
14.8 average
75.9 yards per game average
128 touchdowns.

Yes Terry Glenn is a good player, he is a good player and will help your team, but his best year by far was his rookie year with last year being his second best.

Ownes sucked *** last year and glenn stepped up....I'm not concerned at all about stats with both owens and glenn. They both play for the boys and I can't wait to see him play..One of the qualities I like about glenn is his speed...for only being 5-11" hes faster than some 6 footers...he will makes dallas's offense that more dangerous...

I actually read your post wrong....I thought you said Glenn will be your #1 reciever when he comes back. Yes, if Glenn comes back and does well it will make it pretty damn tough to beat the Cowboys. I was shocked to see Owens has 144 touchdowns vs Glenn's 44 and they came into the league at the same time. I thought Glenn had way more than that.

Anyway, the Cowboys are tough this year!

Hey man...it's cool..the thing that glenn brings to the table is something teams can't overlook. Patrick crayton is doing a great job while glenn was out but the thing is ...they don't respect him and don't consider him a weapon to be feared. With glenn in there, they won't be able to double cover owens and therefore giving him more room to make plays..one on one..ownes can't be contained..

Speaking of Owens. Did you guys see him calling out Keyshawn Johnson? I guess Keyshawn has been a hater and Owens basically said that they both came in the league same year and that their stats speak for themselves. He challenged Keyshawn to come out of retirement and see if he could take over his spot.

Owens is an idiot. I love watching him play, but when he opens his mouth I just turn the channel. I think Mixbreed said it.....Keyshawn has a superbowl ring and T.O. doesn't......Plus Keyshawn is a USC guy!

Just like a said in the other thread which I found, sorry for coming in late, but having a ring doesnt always matter considering you don't even have to play to get one.

but in this conversation...Johnson did play and earn his ring, so your argument is kinda obsolete.

I understand that, but I'm just making a point that having a ring doesn't mean everything. What you can't be great unless you have a ring? I hope nobody tells Dan Marino that, or Charles Barkley (yes I know he played basketball).

Sorry for bringing this up in your thread 4.6, but at least it does have to do with a Cowboys member.
