An amazingly awsome rookie at that! In his short role as a starter for Big D he's done some of the most amazing things even the great ones of old (aikman,favre) were not able to do. Never in their rookie years (aikman/favre) did they lead their team to a 10-1 start (i'm sure alot of other veteran quarterbacks fit in this category)..and not that i'm saying he is or will be a great as they are, that in itself is fawking amazing. Have you seen how many rookie starting quarterbacks team have been a dissappointed with. Over half the teams in the league are in search of a good quarterback. Just look at the dolphins.how many quarterbacks have they had this year alone, the ravens, the jets, the vikings, the chiefs..the list can go on for a while..it wasn't a matter of money for the cowboys..if you don't think any and I do mean ANY team out there in search of a quarterback wouldn't pay that much for Romo that you are naive and in denial. The cowboys needed to franchise and lock tony in because if they didn't there is a line of teams waiting to get there hands on a player like him!!! He's only second in touchdowns behind the great tom brady and our offense is the second most scoring offense also behind New england.(and if you don't think that achievements like that are due mostly to a great quarterback than I don't know what to say anymore).not to mention that his quarterback rating is better than that of manning and equal to that of favre ...you really do make me laugh with you stupid attempts to talk trash about my boys!!! He's not an idiot. He just sucks as a head coach. He is a damn good offensive coordinator. He should have never of left the niners. Yeah they aren't the best team, but they are rebuilding and it's kind of hard to get in a groove when you've had like 3 offensive coordinators in 3 years. Anyways, I have nothing against Romo. He'll be a good quarterback, Cowboys are doing well.

And Mixbreed, your arguments always come around to saying that this team or that team hasn't played anyone unless your talking about the Pats or Broncos. Cowboys have played some good teams this year. Pats haven't played any real tough teams except for the Colts, Cowboys, and almost losing to the Eagles (haha). Just wait for the playoffs and superbowl and then the real champions will be decided.

 

yeah but keep in mind the Colts are defending SB Champs, and NE beat them. they still have to play Pittsburgh which is not a bad team, but not dominate either. They have to play the Giants..but the Giants are frauds...they got stomped by the Vikings...roflcopter.

Broncos have had an atrocious schedule and we haven't done all that great...we've been up and down...it'll be next year or the year after before we're any good, and become a legitimate threat again. we should have beaten the bears Sunday...but our defense is nowhere near what it needs to be.

Point im trying to make is if the Cowboys had a tough schedule like the Broncos their record wouldn't be 10-1...most likely they might be 8-3 or 7-4...nothing to be ashamed of, but they just have a really easy schedule, so you can't say that the Cowboys or Romo are really that good of a team until they play a schedule of tough teams and they really get tested, and have a 12-4, 13-3, 14-2, 15-1 record and they win it all. I think the Cowboys will be exposed against GB thursday night, and in the playoffs.

i believe the Cowboys are about as good as Jacksonville right now. AFC is a lot tougher, NFC is pretty weak. if any team can beat NE in the SB, i think it would have to be the Packers from what I've seen this year.

 

Why does everything get compared to the broncos? If X team had a tough schedule like the broncos this...broncos that...blah..blah blah...Omg stop it with all the broncos bs!! Hell they got blown out by the charger..I'm not sure what to say to you man..

 

I think the Steelers have a chance to beat the Pats. Steelers have one of, it not the best rated defenses right now. If they can get to Brady then they will beat them. I still think if Colts and Pats play again in the playoffs, then its gonna be the Colts winning this time.

Its not like the Broncos division is all high and mighty. The Chiefs, Raiders, and Chargers. Yeah those are some great teams right there.haha. By looking at their schedule, I see maybe 3 tough teams on there that they have played. Colts, Steelers, and Jaguars. Look at the AFC East division, its the Pats in first at 11-0 and then the Bills in second at 5-6. The AFC isnt exactly doing great either. Its amazing how many teams are still in the running for the playoffs at 5-6 and even 4-7. Anything can happen and I will be laughing when the Pats get beat. And yes, they will get beat before the season is over.
