yea, we lost royster early in the game, norwood got hit extremely hard, and clark was very inconsistant.
it was exactly like the Iowa game, we didnt pressure them enough, we were scared of the sheer size of their players since USC has an abnormally tall team lol.
i was very dissappointed because of the score, i really didnt expect PSU to do so bad, i expected it would be a 1 td game, not an almost blow out. (im saying i didnt expect them to win fyi)

oh, and the reason that the USC defence is "so good" is because theyre a bunch of ******* head hunters...through out the whole game, i saw nothing but hit to the head. and what happened to norwood was completely uncalled for, im surprised he came back 2 plays later.
pissed me off

Don't get me wrong....USC has an amazing footgball program and Pete have done an amazing job as a head coach. And I by no means want to take anyting away fromt eh USC players who work their asses off all year. However, I just give special kudos to an amazing school......Penn State.

USC dug their own grave for not being in the championship game. Pete does such a good job recruiting, he gets kids who could start for other Pac 10 schools to sit on the bench at USC. This results in weekening their conference play. A 1 loss USC would be a no doubter for the championship game if other teams in the Pac were decent.
I wouldn't say the Big 10 sucks, the Bigh 12 and SEC are that much better. Big 10 is just a distant third.

Ah Blake you are better than that. PSU is a wonderful school and have done wonderful things, but you took some cheap shots towards USC. I'm sure USC is pulling their weight with research, but don't fault them for having star power or being in the one of the most populated areas in the Country.
LOL at quality kids. I'm pretty sure the Penn State football team has had over 60 players arrested in the past 3 years. That probably doesn't reflect the student body of PSU, but don't act like PSU doesn't have its problems.

Another thing, I've heard a lot of PSU fans say USC was being disrespectful by dancing on the sidelines, but they do that every game. They have FUN, and are taught to work hard and have fun. I'm almost positive USC could have kept their foot on the pedal in the second half, but shut it down out of respect for JoPa.
Anyway, PSU has a lot to be proud of, but the Big 10 needs to step up their game in order to hang with the SEC, Big 12 and some Pac 10 teams.
FYI----Pretty good piece on 60 minutes about Pete Carroll. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4667942n

I don't expect the same game w/ the Fiesta Bowl. USC is very dominant and they were playing in their backyard. I don't think anyone really expected Penn to win. I feel like after the years of Ohio State taking **** for poor peformances they finally step up. Not to mention they're not favored, or in the national championship. That's definitely going to let off some of the pressure. After watching TT get hammered by Ole Miss, Oklahoma State lose to Oregon, and Missouri squeak by Northwestern, the Big 12 was too hyped. tOSU's problem in the last two bowl games was they could not move the ball. Florida and LSU smothered them on defense. I don't see Texas doing the same. Close game going either way. But ****, who knows. Bowl games are hard to predict...I didn't have Utah lasting 1 min on the field with Bama either haha.
