anyone follow college baseball? Just picked up some tickets to texas state vs university of texas and texas state vs purdue. Wish I could be playing right now this season but since the first University I attended didn't have a baseball team I had to drop the sport and now I'm to far along college to join

I follow it a little bit, but nothing like college football. I played college baseball at a small division 2 (switched to D 3 my junior year...think they went back to D 2) California State school, but I graduated college 9 years ago. ha ha ha....I'm old. The school I attended is in the SF Bay Area so we had the pleasure of playing several top notch Division 1 schools, which was cool, but not that fun cause they were just on a different level. I had some rough games at shortstop against a couple of these teams. If I remember right the D1 schools we got to play were:

1. St. Mary's
2. University of California (Cal)
3. University of San Francisco (USF)
4. Georgetown University
5. San Jose State

Never got to play against Stanford, but we did play the Canadian National team one year. ha ha ha....that was fun. They had this dude that was like 6'7 that hit 3 jacks in back-to-back-to-back at bats. Our pitcher should have mixed in a ******* curveball....jesus

Nice I played 1B for about 8 years but an ankle injury pretty much put an end to that. Pitched also, line drive straight back up the middle one game head on into my ankle chipped some of the bone off. Then a friend of mine thought his car was parked and I was getting out the back and he ran over the same ankle.. never been the same since then lol

damn, that sucks dude. Sorry to hear about your ankle. I witnessed a lot of good players never get a fair shake because of injuries.
