USC is actually a very good school and how can you say their football team is overrated? Granted that aren't as good as they have been the pass few years, but come one dude, have some better sense.

You just now saw they lost? A little behind on your sportscenter? ha ha

Yeah, I'm not sure where you get overrated from, but ok. USC is one of the top colleges in the nation and just happen to have a kick *** football program. You have to understand that LA is a HUGE media market and LA doesn't have a pro football team so basically USC and UCLA are the pro teams for a HUGE city that gets a lot of TV time/media. So yeah, I could understand why some people are tired of them, but don't worry we will be back and the 5 star, top 5 recruiting classes won't stop so get used to us being near the top.

Oh by the way, USC won 35 straight home games, 2 national championships, and two rose bowls where we just DESTROYED Michigan....all in the last 5 years...and the other year, we lost to Texas in the National Championship game....how is that overrated?

Not sure who you route for, but I'd say Tenn is OVERRATED

you won 1 National Championship outright the other, you had to rely on some votes for a share of it...therefore you didn't win 2 of anything...you got one handed to you. Plus you are overrated, because your school lost to UCLA last year, and somehow still came out with a #1 ranking to begin the season, but thankfully Stanford came into your house, and put you back in your place like the little bitches you are.

And as for the 35 straight home games, that's in the past, we're talkin about right now. not last season, or 2 seasons ago, or 3 seasons ago...we're talkin about this year. OVER RATED!!! Texas proved that when they beat that *** 2 years ago, UCLA proved it last year, and Stanford proved it this year. O-V-E-R-A-T-E-D! I get tickled pink how many so called "USC Fans" quit wearing there gear when USC loses around here

USC is a *** school of losers.

I don't root for Tennessee. But I do savor every USC loss, because it just feels so darn great to know that the conceited, prideful, arrogant, Trojan condoms, got rolled back up, put back in the wrapper, and thrown back in the night stand where they belong.

My Kansas Jayhawks are 6-0, and have the highest scoring offense in the Nation right now, and we're ranked. But I seriously doubt we'll compete for a National Championship this year, or anytime soon for that matter.

My Oklahoma Sooners are also lookin' good too.

You are right, we did share 1 national championship, but the last time I checked out players still got a NC ring and trophy. Say what you want, but the trophy is in the case. The Pac 10 conference isn't as good as the SEC, but the conference games are no joke and any team can be beaten on any day. That's why they play the games and don't go off the press clippings.

I'm not really sure how USC fans are any different than any other top program in the nation. I would say that most SEC fans are WAY worse than we are. We just expect to win and call that arrogance if you want, but that's what we expect from our team each saturday.

Don't hate cause we've had a top program for a while now.

You can't say USC is an overrated program. They deserve all the hype and publicity they get.

They WON 2 titles. Just because they were ranked #1, and got screwed by a flawed BCS system, doesn't mean they don't deserve it as much as LSU. Last year, they were "rebuilding" and crushed a Michigan team many people felt deserved a title shot.

Yeah they got upset this year, but who hasn't. According to your standards for USC, they'll suck until they win every game, every year. Those are impossible standards to live up to.

haha the Trojan Condoms lost again to the Ducks!!! 24-17.

See ya USC...no BCS Bowl game for you....this has been a happy day of my life.

No national championship game, no BCS Bowl bid, no $17 million for their school for getting to a BCS game, now the money can be well spent on a school that deserves it.

George Lucas was the only good thing to ever come from that school.

Trojans...please roll yourself back up, stick yourself back in the wrapper, and get back in the night stand drawer where you belong and then

Personally, I am happy to see USC loose, but either way, ND still sucks this year.

I wonder if USC has other things on their mind this week.

I love how people will hate a school like USC because they've won a championship or two and they produce a strong team often.

They lost to another ranked team, big deal, stanford pulled an upset, it happens a lot in sports.

I'm not much of a college football fan, but USC is a damned good university to go to, don't start bashing people that come from that school just because of a football team.

And don't start some dumbass "well all they are are a bunch of tree hugging douchebags" stuff either. Its stupid and makes no sense.

Don't get too worked-up. People hate what they can't be. I have been an ND fan all my life. People either love or hate ND....there is no middle-ground. Americans love to see the under-dog win and it gets old when teams stay on the top too long.

Also, when teams do well for soo many years, the fans tend to get a bit obnoxious and arrogant. Maybe it is from having to be defensive all the time.

While I find USC fans to be pretty calm for the most part (compared to when Miami was at the top of their game), showing movie stars on the side lines all the time does nothting positive for the schools image either.

especially when it's that reject from a sperm bank screw up of a scientific experiment Will Ferrell. Don't know who told that idiot he could act, but the guy royally sucks in all of his movies. Especially Talladega Nights and The Elf...OMFG the 2 worst movies I have ever seen in my life.

I dont mind them showin' George Lucas or some of the other actors/directors, but the Will Ferrett Thing has to stop.

As for not liking USC...i dont like them because they cheated to get those 2 NC Trophies, not because they have been on top for a long time. If there was no doubt around their titles being legit, I wouldn't have a problem with them.

Awww, is someone jealous THEY don't get to live in a mansion and count their millions every night?

I doubt will ferrell gives a **** whether some guy from Tennessee likes his movies or not, he will still get paid millions to be in his next one, and people will still line up to pay 12 bucks to see it. I think this goes back to waterDR's post about people hating what they can't be.

i dont care if i live in a mansion and have millions or not. money complicates things and attracts people who call themselves your friends, and try to get their hands all over it.

i don't hate what I can't be, because I'm happy with who I am and what I have, and proud to say that I had to work for what I have, and appreciate it, rather than I just went out and bought it in 5 seconds and got bored with it the minute i got it.

So what happens if you work really hard and make a lot of money? Does that make you not appreciate anything you buy? I don't really follow your argument. If someone spends years busing tables before they get their big break (using an actor as example) does that mean they didn't work for their money? What about bill gates? He was a college dropout and if you asked him I'm pretty sure he'd say he had to work to get to where he is today.

There are two things that make Bill Gates different from Hollywood:

1 - Hes does not make opinions about things he is not expert in

2 - He does not parade on the sidelines of USC games

Back to USC football.....they may be a bit down, but they are not out. This entire year have been crazy form the beginning.

BTW, how did USC cheat to win NC? I don't follow that.

Because George Lucas is so damn cool. The guy has pretty much made 1 movie in his like 30 year career. I give the guy credit for what he has done, but he is nothing special as a director. Anywho, how does one cheat to win 2 naitional titles? The reason a lot of these teams are constantly good is because they know how to recruit and the players want to go to these schools. If you had a chance to play football at USC or some never ranked team, who would you go for?

all of your arguments are pointless and you don't back them up.

First off get your facts straight. George Lucas wrote, produced, and directed way more than just 1 movie.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000184/

Also they cheated because of Reggie Bush...he accepted money from agents, and got loans based on his future NFL value, his parents lived in a house in So Cal for free for like 9 or 10 months. that's cheating. whether or not it would have changed the outcome of them winning those NC's or not it doesn't matter, because it was blatant cheating. Yahoo sports had a big article on it awhile back, and it was the evidence the NCAA needed to break the investigation wide open. it's only a matter of time before all their games are wiped out, the 2 Championships are declared void, and Bush is stripped of the Heisman.

i used bill gates as an example because he has more money than most people in hollywood and still probably worked harder for it.

bill gates also doesn't act like a bunch of these stupid movie stars either. he doesn't go out flashing his junk in public, doesn't get arrested for drugs, and dwi, and have custody battles over his kids in the public eye. he doesn't seem to take things for granted, because he is a huge philanthropist, and is always donating money to charities, research, etc.

he is definitely a model for how rich people should act.

not idiots like Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, David Hasselhoff, and i could go on forever.
