Hi All, I am soorry that I have not had time to lurk before posting.

I am from MA, and am con sidering 1 of 2 mustangs. 1 is a 2003 V6 the other is a 98 GT. Both ahve the same amount of miles. Any advise?

This will be my second mustang. the first was a 76 Mustang II

Go with the GT you will like it more and it already has an LSD if you plan on modding later. Without alot of money the v6 will never be fast

whatever you do, don't get a v6. it's not fast and it's mega expensive to make it fast.

Welcome to the site, and I say out of the two they are sadly close in power stock, but the GT would be my choice.

my house is in south Easteren mass. but my job is in Ohio. as soon as I find somesthing out in mass I am there.

I picked up the 96 Gt yesterday. 6k after tax and title. but I own it outright.
it has a few issues. but ...
I need to take it on a road trip today. this pony will not be in the barn. at least this year.
omg the thing is fast!!! it feels like it's just waitning until I am not paying attention so it can launch without me. Going from a mazda5 to this is a bit shocking.

Wush me luck on my maiden voyage in the snow

They have about the same power, but I'd go with the GT. PI heads are a cheap mod and will get you a large gain in power.

Default made it

Well the pony made the trek. Btw. thanks for not telling me the windsheild washers did not work mr used car sales guy. but over all I am pleased.

Gt's deserve respect. I cannot wait till an over 40 day where I can open it up with fear of ice.

thing to fix or replace in order:
Windsheild washer system
hood locking mechism
radio (possible fuse)
get recaro seats

other than that the thing is a gem. will post pics after I get a wash to get the road grime off.
