Hi everyone... I'm David and I didn't want my first post to be conterversial so I'm introducing myself here.
I've got a 2005 V6. At least it was supposed to be mine but I haul the kids in a Jeep while my wife drives my car daily. Can't complain too much though, driving it less makes me apreciate it more, and my wife has really gotten into cars since then.
And yes, I wish I had a GT. But the 05's came out when we needed a new car we we didn't have the extra to jump into the GT. And this was our first Mustang, we didn't think we'd enjoy it this much. For our purposes, it's really about being a daily driver. It's plenty fast for me and if/when I do get a GT, it'll probably end up costing me in tickets.
That being said, here's a few snapshots I took this weekend...
It was time for new tires so I picked up a wheel & tire set from AmericanMuscle... very happy with the results. Other stuff I've done is the brake light decal, HID conversion, My Color v6 upgrade, and a pioneer stereo that allows us to use 16gb usb thumbdrives for music lists eliminating the need for CD's and blutooth phone connection.
I'm planning on picking up a Porter Cable 7424 and learning how to take better car of the paint, adding some stripes, and changing out the grill inserts. As far as performance, I want to upgrade to true dual exhaust, CAI, get a tuner, and upgrade the gears.
For me, it's not about racing, but we enjoy having a Mustang and it's also something I can keep learning with.

I'm not too sure I like the low profile tire. I love the car other wise, but the tire seems stretched and too low profile for my taste.
