yeah reason I didnt take a pic of under the hood cause that was the first weekend I had it and the previous owner apparently didnt believe in just NOT cleaning the outside... but also didnt believe in doing the engine bay... so I just got done with the exterior in those pics.... I will hook you guys up with some bay pics now that I have cleaned it... I am over in Richmond, VA

Welcome aboard. Just out of curiosity. What made you go with the Saleen over a GT500 or 427R? Just the looks?

I'd go with the Saleen over the GT500 and Roush, too. I don't see many Saleens where I'm from. I've actually only seen one and that was a year or so ago.

 

No No... not a convert! Just wanted to try something new im not a big fan of all the decals all over the sides of the GT500 and that giant stripe down the 427R... If I was gonna do the Roush it would of been the blackjack roush... then I look at the front bumper of them... not a big fan... but I do love the rear bumper of the roush... and again back to the GT500... GT500 seems from what I have read to be a straight line package... it lacks any real suspension upgrades for the twisties... which led me to the Saleen S281SC... full suspension... decent powerplant... semi buffed up tranny... just dont have the 6-speed.... YET! I have seen videos stock for stock 427R vs S281SC.. and the 427R hardly pulls it off... so to me... thats just driver.... dont like the guages in the Roush... love the saleen ones... and back to the GT500 again... looks plain jain to me... OH! and in richmond... I believe my 05+ Saleen is the ONLY one I have ever seen in this area... I see a Roush every other week... sorry for the rambling

 

Ahhh we just played a game in Lynchburg.... I dunno of any mustang meets or anything around us... so maybe hit me up with some info and I will see what I can do
