14.4 is slow lol, for a tiburon meh its quick i guess lmao..

but i'm on the juice 75 shot, exhaust, k&n intake, i haven't been to the track with the new tires or the performance clutch but hopefully that'll change next week. all the other stuff is cosmetic.

Lets think about how he goes so fast.

He lives in Central Florida? I think you can automatically assume nitrous

So was that 14.4 with the nitrous? If so, not sure how you are going to shave a full second off your time to get mid 13s.

13's is where we start on v8 cars. I'd always thought the tib's would be faster than 14-15 though. You gotta work out your 60' time. That's worth the big ET reductions. I don't see mid 13's without more nitrous though if you're only getting mid-14's out of a 75 shot.

Welcome. I think you'll find you'll get ribbed a bit but we're a pretty accepting group.

the new tires will help you if they are sticky and and you were experiencing a bit of wheel spin before

I thought the same thing, but the GT model tiburons only run low 15s stock. I've heard that the GT SE models can run high 14s, but I've never actually seen a video of one to prove it.

I'm guessing he'll go 13.9 or 14.0 with the sticky tires and a better launch.

the tires that i had when i ran at the track were near bald and no traction hince why the high 60' which is why i posted that, my best 60' was a 2.2 with normal touring tires i now have the bf goodrich kdw's which are a very grippy aggressive tire, and i'm looking into getting some drag radials, i figured if i get my 60' down to a 2.0 that would put me at a 13.9 and thats before the new clutch, you also have to consider my clutch was slipping while i sprayed being the stock clutch and it had the spring valve in the slave cylinder which has now been removed, and my new clutch is almost a full 15lbs lighter and so i'm hoping less weight will mean less time on the 1/4th lol, and so i'm hopeful to run mid 13's pending on how well i can launch and all. i dont mind getting pushed around a bit, i'm not here to butt heads with anyone or say my car is better or anything like that to me my car is slow to some its fast...everyone has their own opinions. Like i said i'm here to learn. hopefully everyone can respect that i'm here for that reason. but yeah stock my tib did a 15.7 i've never seen a tib do any better then 15.3 bone stock...that was stripped of all extra things (stock sub, spare tire removed, etc..)
