what clutch did you go with? you went back to shorty headers too, right?

I am hoping for 12's NA by the end of this year...and it wont bve that hard to get with the mods I have planned for the year: full length subframes, MT Drag radials, 31 spline diff and axles, and a dyno tune. I WILL be there! :evil6:

Yea i got the new tuned bbk shorties going on the car.I loved my longtubes but they are hell to pay when doing anything to the car.

I met a guy yesterday with a KB 2.2 in an 03 cobra 10th package. that bad boy was NUTS. I seen the dyno chart and 581 at the wheels and 530ft lbs of torque.

 

Thats weak ..Glad i got a 2v It should make over 570rwtq with ease.

 

that thing is a BEAST! If I had $12k Id get a 2.2L KB myself.

you should be putting down more with all the upgrades you have or everyone would laugh at you.

I wish i had 12k to..I might have that between all my changes over the last three years(thats counting the tranny,rear etc)..Learn to shop ,there are deals out there :icon_chee

 

Yeah, $12k... the 2.2L KB, crate motor (or forged internals),rear end,install,cobra hood,cobra tank,painting hood,tune to get most out of it. Thats alot of $, might be more I forgot but thats off the top of my head.

 

Naa its not that much ..Trust me its not.

The hood i got for 325.00 shipped
cobra tank/pumps off ebay under 500.00
paint free-buddy owns a body shop
install free- im a tech by trade..<----- this is where 75% of most costs are..

Lets just say i can build this setup in a new car for under 12k and have a FEW thousand dollars left over.

I want to have it running by the 18th so jerry can tune it when he is in town.BUT im not gonna rush ANYTHING..If its ready then fine ,if not ill catch him next go around.

 

Jerry is the sh#t, I'd wait too. Have you had any dealings with Modular Powerhouse? They seem to be the popular choice for blown 2v's.

 

I want to get a 2.2L KB sooooo bad, just don't think I can afford it. Might have to settle for a NOVI 2000. Plus I have a auto so I would have to rebuild the tranny so that will suck.
